Programme Priorities

• adoption of the Resolution on Transport Policy of the Republic of Slovenia
• adoption of the Resolution on the National Programme for Road Traffic Safety
• participation in drawing-up EU legislative proposals for relevant fields
• supervision over the performance of public service in the field of public regular passenger services, preparation of relevant regulations and the provision of funds
• planning of further development of public passenger services
• supervision over licence award procedures for road transport operations and over the distribution of permits for international carriage of goods by road
• guaranteeing adequate competence and qualifications of transport operators and drivers
• participation in drawing-up international agreements and cooperation within international organisations in the field of transport
