Programme Priorities

• Evaluating the possibility of using private capital and other non-budget sources as an additional source for more rapid development of the roads infrastructure and for dealing more effectively with the needs of road users
• Developing a service for operational traffic management on all national roads and organising integrated information for users of national roads from one location (CUP - PIS, Centre for Traffic Management and Traffic Information Centre)
• Further construction of the motorway system in Slovenia in line with the National Programme of Motorway Construction in the RS
• Developing a road toll system in the RS as a system of financing development of the motorways network and as a system of guiding transport flows and loads, introducing the electronic toll system within free traffic flow
• Drawing up the resolution on the national programme of modernising the national roads network
